About LE Construction
An owner-run general contractor in Santa Paula since 1999, licensed in General Building and Concrete, with a 5.0 rating across 17 Google reviews.
Owner-run since 1999
L E Construction General Building Contractor Inc. has been based in Santa Paula since July 1999. The company is owned and run by Luis Esparza (José Luis Esparza), who is also the qualifying individual on the company's contractor license. The corporation has held CSLB license #920095 since 2008, with classifications in General Building (B) and Concrete (C-8).
The company started as a general contractor doing residential and commercial work across the Ventura and Los Angeles areas. Today most of our projects are residential: kitchens and bathrooms, whole-home renovations, room and second-story additions, outdoor living spaces, and seismic retrofits through California's Earthquake Brace + Bolt program. Our office at 658 Richard Road keeps us within a short drive of most of Ventura County.
A lot of our business comes from people who have hired us before. One Google reviewer has had us do projects since 2007, including work on the reviewer's mother's home. Another describes working with us on several projects through the years. We think that says more about how we work than anything we could write here.

How we work
Straight answers about cost
Clients describe our pricing as fair and transparent. We price the conditions we can see into the estimate from the start, so change orders stay rare.
Permits are our job
We check the jurisdiction and permit path before design starts, so the plan that gets drawn is the plan that gets approved. That includes Coastal Development Permits and Earthquake Brace + Bolt paperwork.
A clean, respectful job site
Reviewers say the crew cleans up every night and treats the house like a home, not a job site. We protect floors and furniture and tell you up front which rooms will be out of use.
English or Spanish
Consultations, estimates and day-to-day communication in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

About Us: FAQs
How long has LE Construction been in business?
Since July 1999, all of it based in Santa Paula. The corporation has held its current CSLB license, #920095, since 2008. Owner Luis Esparza has been the qualifying individual on that license since 2009. Some clients have worked with us since 2007.
Who will actually be at my house?
Luis Esparza, the owner, handles the estimate, the planning meetings and the permits, and he stays in touch with you through the job. Fernando G. often leads the work in the field, and our crews handle the carpentry, finish work and cleanup. You will know who is coming and when.
How do I check your license and insurance?
Search license #920095 on the Contractors State License Board website. The listing shows our classifications, the expiration date, the contractor's bond and the workers' compensation policy. We link to that page from our footer so you can check it in one click.
Do you work with architects and designers?
Yes. We can build from your architect's or designer's plans, or help develop the design ourselves. One reviewer describes a master bath and bedroom remodel that we built from an architect's design, including extending an exterior wall. Either way, we handle the permit submittal and inspections.
