Twenty-one communities in Ventura County and the edges of Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties, all within about 45 road miles of our Santa Paula office.
Our office is at 658 Richard Rd in Santa Paula, which puts most of Ventura County within a short drive. The core of our service area is the Santa Clara River Valley, the Oxnard Plain and the coast, the Ojai Valley and the Conejo Valley. We also cross the county lines to Carpinteria and Santa Barbara, and to Santa Clarita and Woodland Hills.
Each city handles permits its own way, and unincorporated communities like Somis, El Rio and Piru go through the County of Ventura. We find out which office covers your address before we draw anything.

How far will you travel for a project?
Up to about 45 road miles from our Santa Paula office. That runs from Santa Paula itself, a few minutes away, to Santa Barbara and Woodland Hills at the far edges. For the longer drives, we group site visits and inspections into set days. Drive times are listed next to each city below.
Do you work outside Ventura County?
Yes. Carpinteria and Santa Barbara are in Santa Barbara County, and Santa Clarita, Woodland Hills and the City of Westlake Village are in Los Angeles County. Our California license covers the whole state. We pull permits with each city or county the same way we do at home.
My town is not a city. Who issues my permit?
Unincorporated communities such as Somis, El Rio, Piru and Oak View are permitted by the County of Ventura, not a city. Some neighborhoods with a city mailing address, like Silver Strand and Hollywood Beach near Oxnard, are also county land. We confirm the jurisdiction for your parcel before any drawings are made.
What if my city is not on the list?
Call us anyway. If you are close to one of these communities, we may still be able to take the job, depending on its size and our schedule. If the drive does not make sense, we will tell you honestly.
