Our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If anything about the finished work isn't right, tell us within 30 days of completion and we will correct it at no charge. That has been LE Construction's policy for years.

What the guarantee says

LE Construction offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on our work. Any issue you report within 30 days of completion is corrected at no charge to you.

Most small items are caught before we leave. At the end of every project we walk the work with you and write a punch list: a door that rubs, a missing piece of trim, a grout line that needs touching up. Those get fixed as part of finishing the job. The 30-day window is for the things you only notice after you start living with the room, like a drawer that sticks once the house warms up, or a fan that is louder than it should be.

How to report an issue

Call (805) 921-0405 or email LEBuildingContractor@gmail.com. A photo helps, but it is not required. Tell us what you are seeing and where, and we will set a time to come look.

If the problem is with our workmanship, we fix it at no charge. If the cause turns out to be something else, such as a defect in a manufactured product or damage that happened after we finished, we will tell you what we found and help you sort out the next step.

  • Call or email

Reach Luis directly at (805) 921-0405, or send an email with a photo of the issue.

  • We come look

We schedule a visit, look at the problem in person and tell you what is causing it.

  • We correct it

Workmanship issues reported within 30 days of completion are fixed at no charge.

Products and manufacturer warranties

Many things we install come with their own manufacturer warranty: faucets, toilets, windows, fans, cabinets and appliances among them. Those warranties are set by the manufacturer, and their length and terms vary. Ask us for the make and model of anything we installed, and keep the paperwork that comes in the box. Some manufacturers ask you to register the product to activate the warranty.

If a product fails, we can help you figure out whether it is a product defect or an installation issue. When it is our installation, the guarantee above applies.

Why we put it in writing

Reviews of our work mention the same few things again and again: the crew cleans up every night, Luis shows up when he says he will, and the price at the end matches the price at the start. A written guarantee is the same idea applied to the finished work. It tells you before you sign that we will come back if something is wrong.

You can read what past clients say on our reviews page, and see how a project runs from estimate to final walkthrough on our process page.

Guarantee FAQs

When does the 30-day window start?

It starts at completion, meaning the day the work is finished and we have walked it with you. For permitted projects, that is usually right around the final inspection. If you are unsure whether something falls inside the window, call us anyway. We would rather look at it than argue about a date.

Is there a charge to come out and look at a problem?

Not for an issue with work we did that you report within the 30 days. We come out, look at it and correct it at no charge. If the cause is something outside our work, we will tell you what we found before anything else happens.

What if something goes wrong after 30 days?

Call us. The guarantee covers the first 30 days at no charge, but we do not disappear after that. Many of our clients have hired us again over the years, and we would rather fix a problem with our work than leave it. Products we installed may also still be covered by their manufacturer's warranty.

Does the guarantee cover things I picked out, like tile or fixtures?

The guarantee covers our workmanship: how the tile was set, how the fixture was installed, how the cabinet was hung. A product that is defective from the factory falls under its manufacturer's warranty, and we can help you work through that claim. If you are not sure which one it is, we will come look and tell you.
